C.1880, French, Monumental 3-dial, perpetual calendar clock, the large bell strike movement signed GV, and with oversize brocot escapement on the large 7.5" dial, and with separate calendar and barometer indications, and central thermometer, with indications engraved into the glass panel. Condition: pendulum is a period French replacement, (probably had a more decorative version). Otherwise the clock appears to be in very good original condition. The movement recently serviced and ticking briskly. The porcelain dials are all in nice condition with no chips. Note calendar dial also indicating phases of the moon. This clock is heavy and fragile and courier delivery is recommended; UPS is not possible. Height 23 inches
