C.1840, French, Ormolu Figural Clock, Asian Motif, a lady clad in ceremonial dress with small pointy shoes, her braided hair rolled on top of her head, and with small blossoms in her hair, with a feather fan in her hand, the frieze below the lady with two pagodas or temples, each with a hanging bell, and little bells cast into the edge of the case all round the center and the base. Condition: The gilt dial has some minor oxidation; fine silk thread movement is signed simply P.D., and with bell striking/count wheel, moon hands with some oxidation. Orig mirror in little fan. Ht18"
