C.1880, Vernet, 38 Rue du Bac, Paris, French, Ormolu figural clock: Cherub and mermaid castings and three porcelain inserts with an 8-day time and strike movement. Condition: There are small applied ormolu decorations on the top and bottom right of the clock that are missing. The bezel is loose because the brass retaining ring on the back of the clock is absent. The porcelain dial is signed "Vernet" and has chips around the two winding arbors. The 3 porcelain inserts are in xlnt condition and the case has most of its gilding intact. Height 15 inches
