Condition: except for a cracked throat glass, the condition is overall very good+. This particular clock appears in Sposato's book on banjo clocks, page 96, and has the added bonus of an original inscription on the rear of the bottom tablet "Made and Warranted for Thomas Richards, New York" Richards is believed to have been Simon Willard's agent in New York City. The movement is a Willard style T-bridge with fillister screw mounting. Fluted top finial is exceptional. Weight is old. Height 33 inches
