Condition: overall very good to excellent condition, with old finish intact; minor veneer repairs, and mounts intact (one tip lacking left side hood trim). The well made movement with 6 wheels in the train and pinwheel escapement, driven by Huygens continuous cord; the strike controlled by a large count wheel on the rear plate, with "star" center spokes. The weights are later replacements, however are well made. The pendulum offers compensation with 3 rods, the bob is lead filled and brass faced. Ht 87"
