Condition: the dial surround has some dry splits and has been filled, glued and varnished over; the balance of the case retains original finish in good condition, some scrapes and veneer chips commensurate with the age of the item. Center final is old, but from another clock, slightly short (see Bowers, page 149, right side for finial profile) The dual comb musical movement (serial No. 60360) is in good condition and with original crank and several discs, but only one will play, as the centers are ruined in the others. All teeth intact, never repaired and dampers are good. The Lenzkirch clock movement is signed and with serial No. 978553, and ticks/strikes, however is lacking the hour arm to actuate the music box automatically (can be restored). Ht 90"
