C.1860, Swiss or Austrian, Musical Jewel box in the form of an organ, two drawers locked behind the rank of silvered brass pipes attached to the front doors. Music is actuated by simply pressing the keyboard, when it plays one of 2 tunes and stops; key-wound from the rear. Condition: some of the painted keys have been repaired and re-painted. The veneer on the organ is a colorful burl and in excellent condition. Note also the little man with a flute on the central stack of pipes. Orig inside mirror is cracked.
