C.1800, Austrian, Grand Sonnerie, Crown Verge Bracket clock, with calendar, chain fusee on time, 5 to 7 day duration, qtr striking on 2 bells, w/ faux pendulum aperture, in a primitive solid pine case with flame finials. Condition: overall pretty good for a 200 year old clock; small wooden feet would have been cast brass originally; porcelain chapter ring has some small losses and repairs. Subsidiary dials in arch are still in good condition; retains original fretted brass hands; calendar hand may be a replacement. Movement is sound and running; note fancy engraving on rear plate.
