C.1890, French, Large Gilt Brass Architectural clock, the substantial case with buttresses and fancy finials, now with another movement from the same period, with fancy cast dial and individual cartouche numerals. Condition: there are two holes behind an added shroud at the bezel which reveal the replaced movement. Some of original gilding remains. Bell strike movement is clean and running briskly and keeping time in the case; dial is perfect. Note case is finished on all 4 sides. Would be $1250 if original. Impressive. Ht 19"
