C.1913, Seth Thomas Clock Co., "COLOSSAL", metal cased mantel clock, same design as the Celtic, only larger. Base is cast bronze and the cylinder, bezel and rear cover are brass, and the outer body is cast white metal, bronzed. Silvered dial with raised bronze numerals. Condition: the body portion has been painted over with gold; the cylinder on top has a couple of small dings. The movement is dripping from over-oiling.
