the top carving of 2 birds is from another piece of furniture, adapted to fit. The case has been refinished; some veneer chips apparent; the back board of the clock has been replaced and now with fresh walnut veneer. The old pulleys do not match. Minute hand is too short. Well made Becker movement has been cleaned and re-strung and appears to be in running order. Height 47 inches
