the veneered case has been refinished and there are some chips in the veneer around the octagon, and at the top of the door. The painted dial is original with minor wear (Welch dials have survived well). See Ly's book on Welch for info on the double spring time only movement, OK label on case back, pretty clean. Height 31 inches
