nickel plated case is good with no dents, but the finish is worn off on the sides and base from handling while winding. Original paper dial has darkened in the lower half. One hand is replaced. There is a solder repair on the automaton arm above movement. For info on this model, see Ly's book on Gilbert, page 53. 1998 price guide = $200. Height 10.5 inches
