as with most of these Japanese clocks, the grain painting on the case is exceptional; they really had the process down pat. The original painted tablet has some minor wear, still xlnt. Gong base has name cast in, Aichi at top and Clock Co at bottom; "CM" on dial is perhaps distributor. Height 17.5 inches
