C. 1880. old finish with some deterioration has been overcoated; two small nicks in the bottom half of the case, poorly replaced top finial, the upper half-round molding on the left-hand return is missing, dry split in case back has been covered with duct tape, the bottom bracket is absent but a replacement may be purchased from Joel Warren of the still operating Ithaca Calendar Clock Company in Ithaca, NY. Present are original weights and pendulum and both dials are original and in fine condition although darkened a bit with age. Height 40 inches as shown.
