the rectangular "pendulum" has been copied from an original, a nice job of making it, only close inspection reveals the change. A small wooden handle has been added to the lever on the left which actuates the steam "valve". Otherwise the clock is in very good original condition, the marble base intact, hands and numerals original. The movement is signed with the Guilmet stamp. For additional info, see D. Roberts' book titled "Mystery, Novelty and Fantasy Clocks", page 260. Height 18 inches
