overall very good original condition, with only minor losses: the original dial has paint loss at the center shaft and a small flake at the winding hole. The damascene pendulum and silver leafed wooden rod are original. Weight and signed movement with the number "5". Finish on the case is original, and all of the finials are original. One trim piece at top, right is chipped, and a small rub spot on top molding has been stained in. With a 1944 repair label from Fred Parkhurst, Fitchburg, Mass. Most Howard collectors would be proud to own this small No. 58. Height 42 inches
