Refinished walnut case in nice clean condition. Original painted dial with some loss at the mounting screws, winding arbor and very minor loss at a couple of spots on the edge. Hands are original. Original tablet with repairs to the black background and some loss to the red area. Movement is marked: "E. Howard and Co., Boston, No. 59". Period weight is correctly marked "70". Tie down is present, but hold-down tab is absent. Pend bob is buffed and most of the damasc pattern is rubbed off, but you can still see around 40%. movement just cleaned and running briskly. Height 32 inches
