the marble case has been professionally restored, and some repairs can be found on very close inspection. The unsigned movement has been cleaned and is running briskly. Pendulum with beveled lens is original, however the rear lens is replaced and has been recently glued in. A detachable extension screws to the bottom of the pendulum and extends over the crutch below. The dial and signature cartouche are perfect. Note that the Lepaute family produced clocks for over a century, and this is not the most famous Jean Andre. Hands are original. Height 26 inches
