overall very good to excellent original condition. Minor points include: someone added two weight guides to the throat; they seem to work OK, and can be easily removed. Over the years, the original location of screws to hold on the throat piece had to be moved and the 2 extra holes are apparent when throat removed. Mahogany panels on door and throat are original as is the finish. The original dial is still good, with around half the signature remaining. This partnership of Alvah Skinner and Joshua Seward lasted only a year or so. An unsigned but similar clock can be seen in "Willard's Patent Timepieces", page 135. Height 39 inches
