although refinished, the veneer on the case is in excellent condition; has a tight grain that resembles walnut. Weight, pendulum, dial, beat scale, hands and pulley are original. For details on this model, see Ly's book on Seth Thomas (3rd Edition), page 300. The movement in this model is based on the reliable No. 2 movement, but with a 30 tooth 'scape wheel. True seconds are indicated on the painted dial, which is original, with crazing and some minor flaking. In the past this model has sold for over $5000. Clean, polished, restrung and running. Height 54 inches
