F. Kroeber Clock Co., "Regulator No. 47", in cherry, 8-day time and gong strike wall clock, case with incised Eastlake carving, C.1884. refinished case in nice clean condition with original finials. Original paper dial has age darkened with some wear to the finish. Hands and pendulum are original. Fragment remains of a label on case back. Note that signed Kroeber movement needs cleaning and has spring clamps on by a workman ready to dis-assemble; it is complete. The Kroeber catalog showed this model in walnut or ash, but here is an example, as with most companies, that special order woods were available.
