Timepiece movement, sets in "fire-box", and is wound from the front, and with a barometer above. C.1885 although the centrifugal governor at top is a pleasant looking replacement, it is different that what the research calls for: see Roberts "Mystery, Novelty and Fantasy Clocks" page 263 for this model clock with the original Guilmet governor in place.
