English, Yorkshire area tall clock, wide case with short door, and with 20" rolling moon dial, 2-wt, 8-day, C.1840 the mixed wood veneers on the case have some loose spots and repairs, and the broken arch top has both tips cut off (missing), and feet are lacking. Seconds hand is missing; tip to hour hand is broken away; dial has for some reason been double drilled and has a set of filled holes in the calendar area (note dial does fit this movement well), various small chips in dial. Note cob webs on movement; it has not run in a long while. Seatboard is replaced. Height 81 inches
