Bradley and Hubbard /?, unsigned but good original TOPSEY, blinking eye clock, with 30-hour balance lever movement, a wire running from the lever to the eyes to provide animation. C.1860. the original paint is overall very good with some old touch up here and there. Some lines in the paint give the illusion that the iron has failed, but it is fine with no repairs. The movement is clean and running. Paper dial is old, replaced long ago and with wear, hands good replacements. Although Topseys appear with some regularity, they are hard to find in this original condition. Height 16.8 inches
