the case has some deteriorated finish on the section above the door and a replaced "keystone" to the top that is finished a little roughly. The movement retains its original dial plate and bezel, but the dial itself has been nicely replace by a good craftsman, with slender numerals fired into the porcelain. Function as follows: while the main barrel is unwinding during operation, a siamesed barrel is turning as well, thus winding up a dangling cord out the right side of the case. When the week is up, one pulls the external cord and the process is reversed. Height 55 inches
