Mr. Goddard has not replaced the missing idler roller for which there are holes and an arbor on one side of the movement, rather he substituted a home-made roller screwed to the right side of the case, which doesnt leave enough room for the pulley and weight. We hung the cord on a pillar for the foto, but you should deal with this prior to using the clock. Prepare to be surprised when you look at the quality of this movement, as it is outstanding, surely made in New York City by a precision craftsman. There are 4 fine wheels in the train, the 3rd at the top, which engages the 'scape pinion below it, bridged separately. The rear plate is stamped TIFFANY and Co, MAKERS, and the number "30". The gearing is for 8 days duration, but it appears by markings on the case, that the weight has only enough room to drop for 5 days. 13" dial is signed Tiffany and Co., New York. Meter pendulum and pulley are original. Plates = 9" high, trapezoid in shape. Ht of case, as shown = 63"
