Ansonia Clock Co., "Queen Elizabeth", Victorian mahogany cased wall clock, 8-day time and gong strike wall clock. Circa 1901 case in extra clean condition, has an old refinish on the exterior that has toned down nicely; interior is original. Original paper dial has some surface wear. Hands and pendulum are original. The rating screw has separated from the pendulum stick, but is there. Someone has painted a waterfall scene on the front glass (maybe 30 years ago). Clean label on the back, inside price card from 1981 for $995. Height 37 inches
