refinished mahogany veneered case is very clean with couple of very small filled areas in the veneer. Original signed and painted dial has loss at the mounting screws, around the winding holes and in-painting in the area near 2 o'clock. Gilt caps on the columns are very good with some loss, some restoration on the marble graining on the columns. All 3 tablets are original, lower 2 with flaking areas, mostly in the buildings. Original, large, ribbed plated movement by Brewster and Ingrahams. Hands are both period and may be original, but the hour is a little long. A good example of this miniature, xlnt label. Height 20.5 inches
