overall very good to excellent original condition, with original finish. Silvered dial is still good. Bauerle was well known for his solid plate, cut pinion movement with Graham 'scape; rear plate with his fancy "MB-Peerless" logo. The gong base similarly signed "Peerless". There are a couple of nicks and scrapes commensurate with the age of the clock; case never had finials. Additional info on Peerless can be found in Kochmann's index of European makers. Ht
