from storage, the movement has not operated in a long while and there is surface rust on the gongs; movements look OK. The inlaid case retains is original finish with alligatoring and crazing; inlaid portions are intact. With original finials and feet. One minus is a simple panel is missing from the rear door. Original hands are in bag with pendulum; minute hand was damaged; replacements are fine. See Ly's book on New Haven Clocks, page 97, fig 347. Height 17.5 inches
