the refinished mahogany veneered case is in nice clean condition. Gilded and grain painted columns are in pretty good condition with some loss to the gilding. The nautical theme tablets are replacements (both whaling scenes are well done with fine detail). The original painted dial has had the numerals re-blacked and brass grommets added to the winding holes. Turned feet are replacements. Note, to obtain the weeks duration, Manross took the tombstone stamp-outs from above, and riveted them as extensions to the main plate, making room for an additional gear in the train. Height 38 inches
