Terry and Andrews, Bristol, Conn, sharp Gothic, or steeple clock, time, strike and alarm, 8-day, spring, w/ key lock door. C.1848. mahogany veneered case is in nice condition, with original finish intact. On the veneer, there is a small piece missing at the back edge of the base and a repair on the lower rt front of base and the bottom of both rounded portions; a loose pc near lock has been glued. Original painted dial is very clean. Hands are original. Very nice Fenn tablet of strawberries. Movement retains original brass springs. The label is flaking and some pieces are in the bottom which can be glued on. Lock in door is still intact. Overall a clean example. Height 20 inches
