this clock is in excellent original condition, the clean case with gold stenciling and MOP intact. The original embossed brass / silvered dial has some loss of silvering and wear to some of the black painted numerals (numerals are raised/embossed as well). Hands are original.

Terry and Andrews (Ansonia Clock Co.), iron cased shelf clock with MOP decorations, 8-day time and strike. Anson Phelps persuaded Terry and Andrews to move to Ansonia to produce clocks in 1850. The factory was destroyed in 1854. Clocks produced in that short time have Terry and Andrews movements and dials that say Ansonia Clock Co. The later Ansonia Clock Co was not formed until 1877. C.1852. this clock is in excellent original condition, the clean case with gold stenciling and MOP intact.
