mahogany veneered case in very good condition with what appears to be a later coat of shellac over the original finish. Some veneer loss and chips on the base and the edges of the top molding. Top molding has some damage on the edges. Original signed painted dial is very clean, with good signature. Hands are replaced. Tablets look to be prints applied to the glass with a coating of brown paint on the back in an effort to simulate age. The label is good, missing most of the "J C Brown", but you can still make it out. Ht 31.5"
