this clock comes with 2 top trims, as the clock laid on a closet shelf in California for many years, and the larger top slid off into the corner. So a smaller mahogany trefoil was carved to fit. And later the original was discovered. This clock is signed on the dial and on the weight, a large rectangular slab of lead, painted black, and with some of the paint flaking. The dial has paint loss at the mounting screws and winding hole, but is still excellent. Overall finish and condition is excellent. As a passing note of trivia, for this sale, we have a Stennes, a Campos and this Durfee lyre, all serious 20th century reproductions of the same model to the same profile and dimensions. Ht 41.5"
