and we were pleased to have the opportunity to sell it. Although there have been some minor restorations over the years....these include moving the susp hanger twice when the susp spring broke (note extra holes shown in detail foto), a repair to the escutcheon for key-lock at the top of the center panel {bottom one has never been moved}, and the dial re-silvered. There is slight damage at the bottom of the lead-filled pendulum where it meets the rating nut. Rear iron case hanger for the clock is original, also unusual pulley with curved spokes. We note the weight touches the pend rod about 4" from its top limit, and it may /? have been changed. Mov't mounts on two heavy brass corbels that are screwed to the back of the case. Original brass ring reinforces the "head" and accepts the dial. Ht 53.5"
