refinished mahogany veneered case in nice clean condition. Top/ scrolls are original with a repair to a break at the tip of the left scroll. Front skirt is original. Feet appear to be original, but are now fastened to the base with wood screws [would have been glued only]. Tablet appears to have been repainted on the original glass/ in place. Original dial is clean with some wear to the gilt work. Movement is original to the case. Eagle hands are old. Finials are modern replacements. Ticks and strikes. Ht 29"
