mahogany veneered case in nice condition with restorations. The entire scroll top plus feet and skirt have been replaced, and the finials are modern. Reverse-painted tablet is original with some minor restoration {has a recent cardboard protector installed on back}. Movement is original and appears to have been supplied by Ephraim Downs. Painted dial is soiled with minor wear and is generally very good to excellent. Good label, printed by P Canfield, Hartford. Has tin roller covers on top. Estimate reflects restorations. Ht. 31.25"
