the pine case was once fake grained, and the graining is mostly intact on the inside so you can see what it would have looked like. The dial has been restored, and admittedly this is one clock that would look better with a glass dial to show off the movement. Lead filled weight is a later replacement, and more than adequate for powering the clock. Hands are original. The case has a hole in its "roof" where the aux drive shaft once passed. Other than the case refinish and dial work this appears to be an interesting and original master clock. Ht 78"
