this clock looks the part of a genuine Willard, even has the proper proportions and grace. The case has been refinished. Mov't cleaned and re-cabled around 20 years ago, ticks and strikes on a bell, has smooth barrels typical of American makers. Except for the signature, the dial is original and nice; has bird in flight in the arch; English, Wilson false plate. Waist door has a warp that creates about half inch gap at bottom. Seat board is replaced. Retains good, period, "tin can" weights and the 3 finials are period as well. Ht 90"
