although there are nick and scrapes here and there and some dry splits, this clock is in overall very good original condition with the dial in outstanding condition. Poet Robert Burns writes about the cotter's [peasant's] toil ...."Let not ambition mock their useful toil". The well made bell strike movement was cleaned and re-strung maybe ten years ago and ticks and strikes. Ht 90"
