refinished mahogany veneered case in generally good condition with heavy restoration. This case was fitted with a 30-hour long drop wood movement and dial to replace an 8-day brass movement that this case most likely had. The side pieces that support the movement have been moved to fit the wooden movement. The replaced picture in the bottom door was put in upside down, after which the workman rotated the door so it opens from the right. There are a couple of small pieces of veneer missing. Center columns now gold painted. Period hands. Key escutcheons are missing. Although not for the serious collector, an attractive clock for the cabin or workplace. Ht 37"
