overall a good example of this uncommon model. The dial surround glass is old, however the fancy gilt pattern has been re-backed with gray paint, and the gray is curling and pulling loose. Rosewood veneer is in good condition, with an old re-finish and nice patina. Information on this model and the round double fusee movement can be found in Gregory's book titled "The Clocks of Irenus Atkins", page 80, with another view of the mov't on pg 50. Ht 17"
