a virtually identical clock is pictured in Royer-Collard's book titled "Skeleton Clocks", page 35, and with details on page 36. We did receive a broken and taped dome to accompany the clock, only if you desire, it is not pictured, and will not survive shipment. We note that the myriad of Chinese skeleton clocks available now is confusing to the buyer, and we guarantee that this is an original English clock. There is some tarnish on the dial. Ht of clock on base = 12.5"
