note Brewster had purchased Charles Kirk's clock manufactory in 1833, and there was a quantity of movements left over after Elias and Andrew Ingrahams came on board. Their early years were marked by a large export business to the UK, and this clock was returned from a small town in Derbyshire. Mov't needs cleaning. Veneer has a vertical repair on the left side, a small chip above rt door hinge, however is overall very good. Door latch is missing, has old substitute knob. The label is outstanding. Cut tablet is super. Ht 20"
