this is a nice early beehive. There are some bubbles in the veneer, but it appears the finish on the good veneer is original and has been waxed to a high sheen. There is a hole in the back above the mov't, drilled to hang the clock. Retains Brewster design lyre shaped decorative pendulum hanger and the original wooden dial [dial paint is recent]. Label is dark, however is all there and legible under strong light. Note early lyre gong base. Ht 19"
