the gut /cord has failed and the mov't needs to be re-strung, mov't is signed C. Jerome, New Haven, Conn, USA. There are minor nicks and scrapes to the case, however the finish is original and the dial is original, and it retains a good rear label, with minor losses. This Union model appears in Jerome's list of "Superior American Clocks" that he adverstised in England in 1852. Ht 15.5"
