The label actually reads "C. Boardman, also by J. A. Wells, Bristol, Conn.". Clean, refinished mahogany case in near perfect condition. Even the two finial tips are perfect. It has a repainted dial and replacement hands and beehive tablet. The label is very good. Original pendulum and key. The thirty hour movement is signed and patent dated 1847. It has new fusee cords and looks fine but runs only a few minutes. 20" tall.
