The case is clean, I cannot say it was "cleaned", probably just polished, but it does look good, and I know it just came off the collectors mantle where it had been for years. The walnut case is 30" tall, all the finials and ornaments on top, and elsewhere, are all original and in good condition. Me, not being a beer drinker, or knowledgeable of beer steins, photographed the clock with the top ornament turned wrong. I did not know it was a beer stein, so the handle is in front where it does not show well. There are side doors, carvings and ornaments all over that probably have some significance that I do not understand. The large back door has a wire gong attached. The pendulum, key, trumpeter, horns, and movement, all appear to be original to the case. I would assume the bellows have been redone, they always are. The movement is not signed, I believe it is a two day runner, not one day, nor eight day. The movement is marked only, "11", and there is a big "3" on the back board.
